Werner Mark Hartman continues to be my dearest friend, the brother that I never had in my own family. We are soul buddies. He was a man of intense interests, intense intellect, intense emotions, with intense love for Jannine and their two sons. Luke is my godson. He keeps me in contact with Wyatt and Jannine

I remember Mark from our days at Tanque Verde--you too Fred! I am sorry to hear Mark died so young. I remember him as quiet but nice.

Actually, Wyatt is my godson. It is he who keeps me abreast of Jannene and Luke. My tribute to Mark was full of errors, including the spelling of Jannene's name.
Wyatt and his marvelous and lovely SO, Shelly, were recently guests in my home in Tucson for the last four days, leaving for Australia only yesterday afternoon, Saturday, July 16.
Having no children of my own, upon their departure, I experienced for the first time what an empty nest may feel like.

Ah, the good ol' days at Tanque Verde School. 7th grade with Mrs Kearns and 8th with Sir. I remember Mark hanging out with John, Fred, Butch and Dick. I'm sorry that Mark didn't get to 50. Still too young. Especially if you have kids and grandkids. Rest in Peace Mark
